No I'm not counting down. obviously. LOL.

Here are some sock edgings for my friends daughters. Her 2 year old twins. I found the socks at the dollar store and used some left over baby yarn. I have some unfinished socks of my own from this yarn and will post when I'm finished.

I used a Size D hook.

13 Snowflakes = 45 So Far This Year

Okay, really I'm not trying to get up to 53. I decided, late last week, to make some for the teen age girls I teach. Since we have a small class, the other adults who teach and lead are also in the class. So I had to make a bunch. I just did quick and easy ones. I ended up with 2 left over, so I gave out 11 of them.

Yarn: Size 3 thread (Aunt Lydias)
Hook: Size F
Patterns: Just made up as I went along

5 New Snowflakes #28-32

No I'm not trying to rush to get my 52 snowflakes done.
A coworker wanted some, so, since these are easy, I just made them. I gave her some that I had all ready made and she liked them so much, she kept them. These will be gifts for her friends. She paid me for them, just less then $1 for them since I don't care, she's nice and a friend too.

Yarn: Size 3 thread, Aunt Lydias, bought at walmart
Hook: Size F
Patterns: Just made up.

Mittens & Hat

Made these this weekend.
I've never made mittens before so this was interesting. And I took a child's pattern and made it fit me. And they do! They had a scdec and I made the second mitten with that on the inside, since it created a seam.
The hat was the left over yarn.

Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver [can't remember the color... ugh]
Hook: Size G
Pattern: both from the Crochet Today, Nov/December 2009 issue
