Brown and While Skirt

I bought this inexpensive material to practice making shirts and tops. Well I looked at it and it said "skirt".

I used my basic skirt pattern. Straight on the sides, pockets, elastic waist. I noticed with this skirt I'm getting better with my hemming foot.

The close up shows the print better I think.

Verigated and Blue Dishcloth

Another dish cloth to make a set.
Again just the granny square with SC around the edge.

Blue and Verigated Dishcloth

Made another one. This one I found some verigated yarn that matched in the container I have the yarn in. I think I'll do one more before I take walk (maybe that will help my headache go away more).  This way I'll have a set.

Same as the other one. Granny square center, SC around that.

Blue Dishcloth

Started using the pattern on the label: a simple granny square. I decided I didn't want it that open, so I did several rounds of SC.

I have a headache and nothings working, so I'm just crocheting easy dishclothes.

Yellow Verigated Dishcloth

Made a quick dish cloth. I used my basic pattern I do all the time. One row of SC the one row odd DC with a boarder of SC (2 rounds on this one).

New skirt Sewing, Diamond Print Fabric

Finished another skirt. I used the pattern from New Look 6730. Even though it’s for a knit material, I measured carefully, even adding on a little bit and made it out of cotton fabric. I added pockets because I love pockets.

I actually did pretty good on this sewing project. Bought the material and pattern on a Saturday, washed the material the same day. On Sunday cut out the pattern, sewed everything together except the fold-over waist for the elastic.

Finally after 1 1/2 weeks, finished it.

Here's a close up of the print and shows the colors a little better.
