Crochet Cotton Shoe Bag

Finishing up WIPs (work in progresses). This bag looked just the right size for a shoe bag.
From a cone of Elmore-Pisgah cotton, color 156 Rainbow.
Size H hook.

3 Crochet Cotton Clothes

Looking through my cotton stash, I found these. The last one was unfinished, so I finished it and now have a set. Not sure what brand of yarn or even color. But its a nice color scheme: Brown, white, pink, light green...

Sewing Tools

I always forget to bet sewing tools when I'm at a fabric store. I'm just to busy petting all the nice fabrics. So when I saw these at Walmart, I grabbed them. They had a few new things there. I figure the pieces for the elastic pulling could also work for corners, to push them out.

Crochet Round Cotton Clothes

I made the yellow a while ago (called it the windmill one). Yesterday with power out I got 2 more to make a set.

Crochet Cotton Clothes

My power was out yesterday so I weaved in ends on these WIPs. It's been so long, I can't even remember the brand or color of yarn, but it doesn't matter.

Whit knit Top -- Sewing

This may look a bit familiar. I made one last month, but the neck was too open for my narrow shoulders, plus I made the sleeves a little longer.

Pattern: 6216 (or A6216). Very easy pattern. This tip is a front and back piece and a neck band. This short sleeve top takes less then 1 yard or fabric. I only bought 2 yards of this white knit.

Fabric: inexpensive white knit.

Big Floral Skirt--Sewing

Loved this print and thought it would make a great skirt. Used my usual pattern, simple a-line elastic waist, I added pockets as always.

Blue Top Sewing

Made this top today. I used some small amount of blue floral fabric and some other blue I cut off another top that did not work out.

I made the top using my other pattern, but being out of cotton, the cap type sleeves don't hang well, but it's not too bad.

The bottom I wanted wider so I made a pleat at the center front and back. I need the top part a little longer though.

Constellation Crochet Doily

This doily is a motif from a table runner. I changed some of the beginning to make it larger and more open, but only two rounds. I used a boarder from another doily that is 2 rounds in one. The original used size 40 thread and a size 11 crochet hook.

Pattern from Decorative Crochet, May 1996 - Number 51 issue.
Thread: Red Heart, Size 3
Hook: F
Size: 23 1/2 inches diameter

Crocheted Windmill Doily Dishcloth

I found this in a bag of stuff as I was cleaning. The ends weren't weaved in so I didn't post it on my blog. I just weaved them in, so here it is.

The tips on the end don't point directly up, so it reminds me of a windmill.

2 Crochet Cotton Clothes in a Gift Basket

Here's the gift basket on the side.  It's a wire basket with 2 placemats that will go around the gift.

Here are the cards I gave her. The one not in the envelope is the cards I used. It was a package of blank envelopes. I had a lot to write so I used several cards. And I figured she could reuse the front of the card.

Here are the 2 dishclothes I crocheted for her. These are new. I just did my basic center pattern. A row of SC then a row of DC until the last row of SC and make it square. I did a fancy boarder, kind of. The snowflakes on the right were in my snowflake box. I need to make sure size 3 thread ones.

Here's the doily I had in my doily bag and I gave that to her. you can see the 2 candles I gave her to in the gift bag. One was a red one and the other was a Faith words with tea light holders, also next to it is the tea light candles.

Here's the gift wraped up with the sheer ribbon. Since it was an odd shape, I put ribbon all over it. I used the entire little spool. I even tied the envelopes.

Here's a side view of the wrapped gift. The flash made it a bit odd color.

Roller Foot For Sewing Machine

I bought this new foot for my machine because I had read about it on the craftsy site that offers classes and I was reading about the knits class. I didn't sign up for the class. But it looks interesting.

It's a Roller Foot. Has a large roller on one end and two little ones in the back.

Below are photos for your viewing pleasure.

The first shows the bottom. This is whet will go against the fabric. And the size.

Light Tan Linen-Like Skirt--Sewed

Made another skirt.
Used my simple A-line skirt pattern and pocket pattern from another pattern. Elastic waist. My usual.

It's a linen like material. Very light. Perfect for summer.
The flip flops have a lace/crochet top. Matches.
