Denim Skirt - Sewn

Starting a new sew along on Ralvery boards this year. January challenge is a skirt. February will be a short sleeve knit top.

I finished this skirt a while ago, but didn't take pictures because it wrinkles easily. Here's the best ones I have.

I used a pattern as a guide, well the photo, then just made it up. Basically it's 6 panels with the center panel larger, or wider, then the side panels. Side pockets, of course.

I don't have a double needle, so I sewed 2 lines one at a time. Need a double needle.

Pineapple Sampler Piece - Crochet

Because I want to create a sampler book, I need pieces to put in it. I left the ends long to sew onto a piece of material, or felt, or something (not sure what I'm going to use yet).

Pattern from some scarf. Sorry I made it a while ago, I'll find it and post it.

I want to make a bunch of these so I have enough for one each day and extra just in case. And keep some on my wall so it can stay decorated.

To color is Bright Blue

My first here and why I'm doing these

Uptown Quit - First Finished Quilt

Finished my first quilt.

Used a roll of fast quarters, 8. Plus one for the boarder. Bought the binding but will make it from now on. The back is a sheet 100% cotton.

Pattern is Uptown Quit. I cut the rectangles to I narrow, 5 1/2 inches instead of 6 1/2 inches, but that probably helped me quilt it. I put the name on the boarder in FMQ. I also added my name in FMQ. Plus the year (no pic, not that good anyway).Link to.pattern

This is a quick throw quilt. Took me 3 days to make.

Purple Cupcake Dish Cloth Crochet

Another one done.
See last past for info.
I used a purple verigated cotton yarn for the top.

Cupcake Dish Cloth

Since I never really decorated my kitchen, I found a cute ($2) kitchen picture that wasn't of a chef making excellent food (I'm a bad cook), decided to do it in cupcakes. I also have an apron kit.

So I'm adding cupcake dish clothes to my kitchen walls. And to use.

My first.
Cotton yarn.
Ecru bottom.
Pretty Pastels to p.m.
No pattern, couldn't find one I liked.
