Idea: Kitchen Towel Holder

This is a store bought towel and I had never saw this before, so I thought I'd share it. It would be easy to add to a store bought towel.  Mostly I'm posting this so I remember, I think it's a great idea.  Just a little piece of fabric in the corner.

Crochet Cotton Cloth

I started this simple cotton cloth when I was sick, so I'll keep it for myself.  I used a size J hook (just grabbed it out of my hook collection) and left over cotton yarn.  No color on the cone. Just a simple single crochet. Used almost all the yarn.

Crochet Christmas Star

I made some quick crochet Christmas stars out of worsted weight yarn and a size H hook.

Cotton Crochet Cloth

Made with worsted weight cotton yarn, size I hook.

Stated a pattern, but decided it wouldn't work for me, so I decided to do my own thing after round 1. All clusters, except the last 2 rounds in single crochet.

Adult Coloring Paisley Number 1

Here's the first page of my new adult coloring book "Paisley Designs Coloring Book". At first I thought this was a cheap book.  Few pages, double sided so if I wanted to frame one I couldn't do the other side unless I made a personal copy of it, etc. But it's actually quite nice.

Eyes Mask - Sewing

I had some time and decided to finally make an eye mask.  I used my dollar store eye mask as the pattern. I cut 2 pieces of scrap fabrics and 2 quilt batting. Looking at a pattern, I realized I wanted something soft against my eyes. I tried something with a fleece blanket that didn't work out, so I had a piece. Enough to cut 2 pieces.  So I decided to only use 1 piece of quilting batting and make 2 eye masks.

Butterfly Embroidery

Finished and forgot to post. Want to decorate my bedroom in a butterfly theme, in an adult way, and this is a start.

A few pictures from previous posts about the stitches for those who missed those blog posts.

First picture without flash, last with flash. Not sure which is better, so I'm posting both.

Sun Bonnet Sue Embroidery

From Better Homes And Garden Embroidery 1978 book.  I didn't have a graph paper, so this is free hand drawn on paper, then tracing paper, then on the material.

This is on my bathroom now.  My bathroom is blue and yellow. Since I have white daisies in there, I added white to the yellow flower.

Fly Stitch Embroidery Sampler Started

Started a new sampler. The Fly Stitch.

The flowers are done with two small fly stitches.

I doodled some ideas, this is a small picture of my doodles.

More unpaper towels

I needed more so I made some more.

Same as last time. Flour sack cut in half, then cut in thirds, then used my edging stitch on my sewing machine. This is from one flour sack.

Unpaper Towel 5 More

Five more unpaper towels. I just stitched the edging that needed it. Decreased the stitch width on these.  From 5.5 to 4.5.

With the one I did earlier, I have six. Used a flour sack, cut in half, then each half in thirds.
