Marking Rows in Crochet

For those who haven't done this, you can mark rows or rounds in crochet patterns to make it easier to keep track.  I am working on this shawl and it's a 6 row repeat. Since each edge is different, I needed to mark them off as I kept frogging.  I used a steno pad so the second column can be used to mark it off.

Just as an FYI,  this is the"Paradise Bay Shrug " in Creative Crochet In A Day.  But I'm going to make to longer and into a rectangle shawl. Keeping the pointed edge as I like it (it's in the bottom picture were my yarn got sick and barf).

Butterfly Wings Shawlette - Crochet

Because the center back ended so long (probably why I stopped working on it), I decided it works as a front shawlette. I love wearing them with coats or jackets open. So this is done.

Crochet Shawl in White

I couldn't sleep and was browsing Instagram.  Saw a nice shawl and decided to copy it to the best of my ability.  I like how it turned out.
